WE ARE DOG FRIENDLY!

One or two well behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome at Cowden Farmhouse. We know your dogs are much loved members of your family, so we want to ensure they also enjoy their holiday!

We provide them with treats, toys, bowls, an outdoor hose with shower attachment, drying mats and towels. We ask that dogs are not allowed on the human furniture or beds, but we do provide them with their very own sofa - placed in the prime spot for the sunshine and countryside views, and a choice of luxurious dog beds for inside and out.

In addition to the lawns and wooded areas around the house, we also have the 'Night Garden' - accessed directly from the front lawn. An acre of beautiful trees, meadow grass, wild flowers and a small pond, with a mown path winding around the perimeter, passing strategically placed seats to stop and admire the incredible views, and the ideal place to let the dogs and children stretch their legs!

Guests are also very welcome to exercise their dogs across our farmland, but due to the livestock and wildlife, they must be kept on leads.
If you have any questions regarding bringing your dog/s to Cowden, please just contact us. If you plan to leave your dog unattended in the house, please discuss this with us first.
