Covid-19 Arrangements

We would like you to enjoy a safe and pleasant stay during these Covid-19 times.  To do so here are a few things we wish to draw to your attention.

What we will do:

We will be following Scottish Government guidance for cleaning self-catering accommodation for your safety and comfort.  We will clean the property between each guest to a standard suitable for normal residential use.  We cannot guarantee that this is suitable for someone with underlying health conditions or who is vulnerable or requires shielding.  We will be relying on you to make your own assessment about your safety to travel and to use the holiday accommodation.

What we would like you to do:

To help ensure your safety and the safety of others please adhere to the following steps during your stay at the property:

  • Do not travel to the property if you have contacted Covid-19 prior to your arrival date.

  • Comply with Scottish Government legislation and guidance on social distancing.

  • Apply hand sanitiser on each occasion any member of your group enters the property.

  • Maintain personal hygiene, including washing hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the property.

  • Air the property by opening windows and doors if reasonable and safe to do so.

  • Remove all personal items when leaving the property, including food and toiletries.

  • Strip beds and bag up linen on departure and place in the bags we will provide.

  • Contact us immediately to inform us if you or anyone in your group develop COVID-19 symptoms either prior, during or immediately after your visit.

  • If, for any reason, you or anyone in your group is unable to comply with any of these steps, please let us know as soon as possible.

Covid-19 Cancellation:

The detail is contained in our terms and conditions but in summary we operate the following policy.

  • If the previous guest has been diagnosed with Covid-19, the property will be thoroughly cleaned, but you will have the option to cancel if you wish and receive a refund of 75% of the holiday cost.

  • If the authorities lockdown the location of the Property before or during your stay – we will refund you the whole of any unused proportion of your holiday, including the 25% deposit.

  • If you contract Covid-19 during your stay you will advise us and return home immediately for the safety of yourself and others.  We regret that there is no refund in these circumstances.
